1/2 pound ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
4 ounces (113 g) tomato sauce
1 teaspoon Italian herbs
1 cup cottage cheese
1 1/2 cups uncooked medium-size noodles
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
3/4 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
16 ounces (454 g) stewed tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1. Brown ground beef and onion in large skillet. Drain off fat.
2. Mix in tomato sauce and herbs.
3. Spread cottage cheese on top, then noodles.
4. Mix parsley and basil with stewed tomatoes; pour over noodles. Simmer, covered, 25 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and re-cover until cheese melts.
